Cancerpoint is a programme of support and education for people with a cancer diagnosis and those caring for someone with cancer. Using a range of complementary therapies, the Cancerpoint programme enables you to creat an individual package of care to help you through the experience of cancer.
The Cancerpoint Programme includes individual appointments and group sessions.
Cancerpoint works alongside the residential and single day courses offered at Penny Brohn Cancer Care. You can use whatever combination of services and therapies works best for you. People from all over the country can use Cancerpoint, but it is most often and most effectively used by people in the local area who are able to attend regularly.
Services at Penny Brohn Cancer Care are open to people aged 18 years and over, with a diagnosis of cancer, and to their family and friends who are supporting them.
"The shock of a diagnosis can leave people frozen and feeling absolutely powerless - it can have a huge impact on every aspect of someone's life. Through their helpline, information services and world-respected therapy courses, Penny Brohn Cancer Care plays a vital role in complementing medical treatment, helping people with cancer to improve their daily quality of life"
