The Cancer Reform Strategy (2007) suggests that people living with cancer need information on their illness, practical techniques of self-help and long term support. We aim to provide free and reliable information that helps people to make informed choices about complementary cancer care options, enabling people who are affected by cancer to;
- Have quality of life in the presence of illness
- Live well with cancer
- Have an impact on their own wellbeing and health
We provide free and reliable information for people affected by cancer, including supporters and health professionals; enabling them to make informed choices about the services we provide. We support evidence informed practice by providing accessible, up-to-date research produced by specialist research officers in the field. At all times the needs of our clients are paramount.
