Terms and conditions for education courses

Please read these terms carefully and contact the Education Administrator on
+44 (0)1275 370 110 if you have any questions or to book a course. 


 Fees

Fees include tuition, training materials, a set lunch and refreshments. All meals are delicious whole food in line with our healthy eating guidelines.

Enrolment

To enrol on a course or seminar, please complete the application form (personal details are required for each applicant – please photocopy as necessary) and send with full payment a minimum of two weeks prior to the date of the course or seminar. Payment can be made by cheque (payable to Penny Brohn Cancer Care), credit or debit card. Alternatively, please visit our website www.pennybrohncancercare.org to make a secure online payment.

Enrolment on these courses is at the discretion of the Head of Education at Penny Brohn Cancer Care. All courses must be completed in full and any assignments submitted to a satisfactory standard within the given timeframes. If a student chooses to leave either programme of courses before completion they are liable to pay the full price for all courses attended. The registration fee of £40 for both Certificate programmes is non-refundable.

Accommodation

Bed and breakfast is available for specific courses (see courses for details). Places are limited. Please contact the Education Administrator on +44 (0) 1275 370 110 for current availability and prices. Alternatively, a list of local accommodation is available on request. Penny Brohn Cancer Care accepts  no liability for the standards, prices or reservations of these external establishments.

Cancellations

Once enrolled should you find you are unable to attend a course or seminar, written notice is required to be sent as soon as possible. If notification from you is received at least two weeks prior to the date of the course or seminar, the full amount can be transferred to another event or refunded. Refunds are issued in cheque form and take approximately 7-10 working days to be processed. Additional clauses regarding cancellations for the Foundation and Higher Certificate were stated previously. No transfers or refunds can be made on cancellations made within two weeks prior to the date of the course or seminar. Course numbers are reviewed two weeks prior to the date of the course and will be cancelled if numbers are low. If Penny Brohn Cancer Care cancels a course you are enrolled on you will be given the choice of transferring to another event or offered a full refund.

Please note: Penny Brohn Cancer Care reserves the right to cancel courses and seminars due to unforeseen circumstances.
