Glyn Berwick - Chief Executive
Glyn has been Chief Executive of Penny Brohn Cancer Care since March 2008.

His charity experience spans 30 years, beginning his career with the NSPCC. Following a five year spell working as Assistant Director for national family charity Home-Start UK, he worked for three years at the world famous Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool where he had responsibility for the funding and planning of a new £10m Oncology Unit.

From 1999, and prior to joining Penny Brohn Cancer Care, Glyn worked as Chief Executive for the Donna Louise Trust, a then newly established regional charity in the Midlands, where he guided the development of a children’s hospice service from scratch.

Glyn read Politics at Warwick University and gained an MBA in 1993. He has a strong love of music, having learnt and played Piano to diploma standard. In 2011 he performed a one night recital as part of Penny Brohn Cancer Care’s 30th Anniversary celebrations.
