Chair
Francesca first joined as a Trustee of Penny Brohn Cancer Care in 1998 and was elected Chair in 2007.
Francesca has recently retired from a 27 year career in finance. Having read Geography at Oxford, Francesca started her city career at Chase Manhattan Bank in 1980 where she worked in multiple roles in the US and UK.
Francesca left to travel extensively for 18 months then joined Swiss Bank / UBS in 1993 for a fascinating 16 years in restructuring, loan portfolio management and ultimately running the global private equity business.
Francesca now pursues a portfolio of activities, primarily in the voluntary sector, including Chair of Governors of the Bridge Academy, Hackney; Chair of the St Hugh's College, Oxford Development Board; IntoUniversity Advisory Board and Capvis private equity non-executive board member.
