Francesca first joined as a Trustee of Penny Brohn Cancer Care in 1998 and was elected Chair in 2007.
Francesca has recently retired from a 27 year career in finance. Having read Geography at Oxford, Francesca started her city career at Chase Manhattan Bank in 1980 where she worked in multiple roles in the US and UK.
Francesca left to travel extensively for 18 months then joined Swiss Bank / UBS in 1993 for a fascinating 16 years in restructuring, loan portfolio management and ultimately running the global private equity business.
She now pursues a portfolio of voluntary and non-executive roles including: Chair of Governors of the Bridge Academy, Hackney; IntoUniversity Advisory Board; non-executive director of Coutts & Co; non-executive director of Electra Private Equity PLC and non-executive director of Capvis private equity.
