Emma has been a Trustee of Penny Brohn Cancer Care since 2011.
Emma studied Zoology and Psychology at the University of Bristol and has a Masters in Public Policy. She has worked in the charity sector for twenty years with experience in youth work, advice, mental health and service user involvement. For the past twelve years she has worked in grant making with St Monica Trust, BBC Children in Need and now Lloyds Bank Foundation. She is co-chair of a network of regional funders, Funding South West. Emma is fascinated by the role of charities and how they are funded. Her mother, an advocate of eating well and achieving ‘moderation in all things including moderation’, lead her to Penny Brohn.
