Eating well

Enjoy your food
Healthy eating can be beneficial to people living with cancer, helping to support your immune system and improve your quality of life. It may also help to reduce the side effects of cancer and its treatments.

Healthy eating is very important for physical and emotional health, supporting you at all levels. It may help you to manage some of the side effects that cancer and its treatments can have on your appetite and digestion.

Our guidelines are based on current evidence relating to nutrition and cancer, and have been developed to support the general health and wellbeing of those with cancer, and those wishing to reduce their risk of developing cancer.

Our courses and demonstrations aim to give you a better understanding of your own body and health and how specific foods can be of benefit to you. Our team of therapists will guide you through the information available and help you rediscover the enjoyment of real food.

We each have our own unique requirements and likes and dislikes - there isn’t any particular diet which would suit everybody. We help you to find your own way, and to create goals which will be enjoyable, easy to follow and effective for you.

Our featured recipes and the food served in our restaurant follow our guidelinesand provide a healthy and enjoyable experience.
