Join us on this once in a lifetime adventure, take on the Great Wall of China challenge.
Zig zag your way across China as you cross watchtowers, snake across mountains, pass over historic battlements and climb the ‘Heavenly Ladder’ at Mutainyu.
In 2010 we conquered Mt Kilimanjaro raising £95,500, then, in 2011 we explored the Inca Trail raising £51,000. On the back of these successful treks you can join us in 2012 for an exclusive trek to visit the one and only Great Wall of China.
You will even get to leave your mark on the Great Wall by laying a brick in a section that is currently being restored.
Why should I do it?
Conquering the twists, turns, steps and slopes of this magnificent structure is surely one of the greatest achievements imaginable. But there’s more to it than that. Sadly, cancer will touch almost everyone at some point in their lives. Here we believe that everyone affected by cancer should have access to life-changing care and support, but we need your help to make this happen.
What do I need to know?
We are delighted to be working with Global Adventure Challenges for a second time to bring you this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Global Adventure Challenges have over ten years experience in organising such trips, they have helped thousands of people reach their goals and life-long ambitions. Every Expedition Leader is highly experienced and well trained to provide everyone with the most enjoyable trip possible.
How much do I need to pay or fundraise?
You have two options:
Minimum SponsorshipYou fundraise a minimum amount of sponsorship for us and we pay your challenge costs. You will be required to pay a deposit of £299 at the time of booking and pledge to raise a minimum £3095.
Self Funder You personally cover the full costs of the challenge which is £1499 (which includes a £100 donation to us) and then you fundraise as much as you can. You will be required to pay a deposit of £299 at the time of booking.
